Though it would be the middle of her life before her dreams collided, Khalilah Cage’s earliest memories are full of intrigue and delight towards women and beautiful clothing. She was born in Portsmouth, VA. The baby sister of her two siblings, the Smith kids were “Navy brats” and lived all over the world. Khalilah’s interest in women and fashion only grew and followed her as she completed high school in Fallon, NV and moved to Reno 20+ years ago where she earned a B.S. in Marketing at the University of Nevada, Reno.

Khalilah is the youngest of 3 siblings. She is a mother of 2 kids. Her wonder for fashion and women never faded as Khalilah married and became a Mom to a son and daughter, thus living out what will be her most fulfilling role. She was a stay-at-home mom who fought to remain connected to her personal dreams and the pursuit of bringing them to life. In 2018, after decades of friendship, she and co-host, Misty, started a podcast aimed largely at women. Through the podcast, I Am Her, the two Reno residents share unique, yet relatable spiritual, relational, and professional experiences. As one often does when creating, Khalilah found herself having many profound personal breakthroughs and reconnecting to her childlike belief that day by day, she can and should trust herself to create the life she deserves in the present, as well as for the future. She established that belief, and her dreams began to come full circle. She birthed her enthusiasm and flare for fashion when she launched her personal stylist business, Styled by Kiki Cage. Whether women are coming alive for the first time or reinventing themselves as they confidently express their internal and external radiance, Khalilah feels honored to be a part of the process.

The podcast and the stylist business are the perfect avenues for Khalilah to connect with others and learn about their lives, as well as share the valuable insights that have enriched her life as one who could have been easily overcome by many of life’s most incredible challenges. Whether you learn about these things through I Am Her, or as a client of Styled by Kiki Cage, Khalilah seeks to communicate them as one who will humbly and lovingly evolve as a woman, a mom, a person of color, and a sister to all women.
